Addie's Personal Training Studio Introduces Addie's Autism FITT Club™

SAN DIEGO, CA - Addie Merrill, owner of Addie's Personal Training Studio, is genuinely excited to announce a brand new program that has been several years in the making. Addie's AutismFITT Club™ (Functionally Integrated Traditional Training) provides a foundation for movement, coordination, balance, and motor development for those children and even adults who are diagnosed with autism.

Addie's oldest daughter Reese was diagnosed to have autism at 20 months. Reese is almost 6 years old now and her protracted physical progression has sparked Addie to realize the importance of offering a secure and carefully supervised environment that encourages a child with autism to perform functional exercises that will aid them in their daily living.

As a parent whose child has a developmental challenge, Addie understands the conundrum parents face when it comes to helping their child make strides in their coordination and finer motor functions. The puzzling question is how to keep things simple while trying to teach complex movements, behaviors, and exercises that will allow their children to function with more "normalcy."

Addie states. "There is no other local fitness facility, studio, gym, or class that offers what we currently do." Addie knows answers, solutions, and evolutionary discoveries are still being made about what works best for those affected by autism. However, living with this disorder gives her a unique advantage from an experiential and experimental angle that most other fitness experts would not have. Her background, knowledge, expertise, and application have enabled her to tailor an elementary program to be used as building blocks for further fitness milestones and achievements.

Some of the major benefits of the FITT Club that a child will experience and parents will be able to witness are an increase in motor learning, improved balance and coordination, increased self-confidence, a stronger core and better trunk stability, and finally possible weight loss and or weight control.

Please call Addie's Studio today to find out more about how to get your child enrolled into Addie's AutismFITT Club™, how the initial fitness assessment works, and what you can expect your child to accomplish during their participation in the FITT Club. Addie's AutismFITT Club™ understands that while structure is important, the interest and engagement of the client is needed in order to make progress. Thus, there are exercise variations that are integrated through the workout day to keep the interest of the client and also promote fun, laughter, and enthusiasm for exercise.
