Personal Training Studio Invites San Diego to Lose Weight and Fight Autism
Addie's Studio 8th Annual Remodel Your Body™ Challenge and 1st Annual Move your Body for Kids to benefit the Autism Tree Project Foundation
SAN DIEGO, February - Addie's Personal Training Studio, a boutique-style fitness studio located in Pacific Beach announced today that their eighth annual Remodel Your Body™ Challenge (RYB) will benefit the Autism Tree Project Foundation (ATPF).
The Remodel Your Body™ Challenge is an eight week fitness challenge open to San Diego residents looking to get in shape for a great cause. The goal is to lose the most relative body fat in eight weeks. There is a $100 entry fee for each challenger. Each participant will receive seven 50 minute boot camp workouts at Kate Sessions Park in Pacific Beach. All entry fees, including the boot camp option, will go directly to ATPF.
This year is our first year to launch the "Move your Body for Kids". This class is the same time and same place but just for kids 5 – 12 years of age. The cost per each child is $50. Addie believes that children need to know how important exercise is and to have fun doing it.
RYB has raised $14,000 in just the last two years alone for Autism. Reese, Addie's first-born daughter was diagnosed with Autism in 2006 at age 2. "For parents, a diagnosis of Autism requires a fast learning curve," said Addie Merrill. "We have been incredibly impressed with the support services through ATPF and wanted to leverage our experience in community outreach to benefit this impressive organization."

About ATPF
The Autism Tree Project Foundation was founded in 2003 to promote autism education and provide early intervention programs in the California community. Our main programs are:
- Preschool Screening Program. Screenings of students in the preschool setting to identify children at risk for autism due to developmental delays.
- Mentor Program. A quarterly program that pairs families new to the autism diagnosis with a "Mentor" to support and guide the family as well as assist in identifying autism-related resources in the community.
