With smaller class sizes the instructor can pay more attention to your form and exertion levels and moderate the exercises as needed.
Look for classes that target your full body rather than “abs class” or “total legs” class. Those are old school classes that only target one area.
These days with kettlebells, medicine balls and TRX training, group classes should to target the entire body to help you get leaner and more functionally fit.
